The Distillery

Aberlour, situated at the junction of the rivers Lour and Spey, was founded in 1879 by the local benefactor James Fleming. A unique factual detail: The distillery is named after the “St. Drostan’s Well,” an ancient spring located on-site that provides the exceptionally soft water used in production.
