Independent bottles of Laphroaig are now running to a record low and who knows when the last cask will be released. Spirit from one of the most sought after and acknowledged distilleries on the planet is delivered in perfection. Distilled in 1996 and matured for 20 years in one ex-sherry barrel then bottled in 2017 by Adelphi. Only 484 bottles were produced.
Our Tasting Notes
Nose: Smoked meats and TCP. Stewed apples and butter icing. Lemon tarts and touches of menthol.
Palate: Smokey and malty combines well with stewed pears and touches of cocoa. Salted caramel meets creamy tobacco and ashy peat.
Finish: At the seaside on Guy Fox night.
