Description
Arran Gold Scotch Whisky Cream Liqueur (700ml)
Volume: 700ml ABV: 17% Age: No Age Statement Country: Scotland
The Isle of Arran distillery was build in 1995 and is now one of two distilleries on the Isle of Arran on Scotland’s West Coast. The distillery boasts an ideal spot for production and distribution of whisky with warm fresh sea air, close proximity to the mainland and an abundance of fresh soft water. Arran enjoys a warm microclimate – the atmosphere of sea breezes and clear mountain air, together with the warm flow of the Gulf Stream is ideal for the speedy maturation of single malts. In the early 19th century, there were more than 50 whisky distilleries on Arran, most of them illegal and carefully hidden from the eyes of the taxmen. The Island’s malt whisky was shipped to the mainland and enjoyed by the gentry, who regularly ‘took the Arran waters’. It was acclaimed at the time as the best whisky in Scotland – only rivalled by those from the ‘Glen of Livet’
Since its launch in 2004, it has become incredibly popular and everyone who has tasted Arran Gold agrees that they would happily ditch their usual bland cream liqueur in favour of this deeply delicious treat. Made with a healthy dose of Arran, this is a cream liqueur where you can really taste the quality. Tasty on its own, over ice, as an ice cream topping, in a coffee or even in a cheesecake.
Official Tasting Notes
Nose: Chocolate and cassis with a wee touch of fresh mint

The best ever milkshake on steroids. Got to be careful with this one as it is so, so moreish you have to force yourself not to have another. Could become a very expensive drink to have in your cabinet as you will forever be buying a new bottle. Definitely recommend this one to everyone who enjoys a cream liqueur. Yum.
