Volume: 700ml ABV: 46.8% Age: No Age Statement Country: Scotland
The original Timorous Beastie, immortalised in Robert Burms’ famous scottish poem “To a Mouse” was a timid little field mouse. Echoing our natural bard’s wit. This whisky is most certainly not for the fainthearted.
This non chill-filtered “vatted malt” is a marriage of appropriately aged and selected highland malts – including, amongst others, those distilled at Blair Athol, Glen Garioch, Dalmore and Glengoyne distilleries. Douglas Laing’s Timorous Beastie small batch release is brimful of flavour with a honey spiced character and a piquancy to relish.
