The Elements of Islay are a range of iconic, small-batch, expertly sourced independently bottled whiskies. The Limited Edition range consists of single malt bottlings from individual Islay distilleries identified with periodic symbols and batch numbers (Lp1, Ar2, and so on). They are bottled either as single casks or as small batches between 3 and 20 carefully selected casks. These expressions celebrate the distilleries’ individual character while presenting a balanced and characterful whisky bottled at full proof.

Elements of Islay mainly release single malts in limited batches and use elemental symbols to get you thinking about which distillery they came from. They have also decided to create a more consistent approach to bottling their whisky and have created this blended malt which is full of Islay goodness.

PEAT Pure Islay is the companion to PEAT, trading its feisty full strength for a more approachable and easy-sipping 45% ABV. Packed with Islay smoke, it’s still a go-to whisky for both cocktails and long drinks, as well as being an excellent dram to sit with long into the night.

Created using whiskies from a handful of distilleries from across Islay, PEAT Pure Islay is a well-balanced and easy-drinking everyday whisky to keep all smoky dram fans happy.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Martine goodness with citrus and caramel sweetness.

Palate: White chocolate roulades, candied orange peels, sea salt and smokey peat.

Finish: Rich smoked malt and salted caramel.
