The Glen Scotia distillery is situated in Campbeltown on Scotland’s Mull of Kintyre peninsula and is owned by the Loch Lomond Group. It has stood the sands of time whilst the distilleries of Campbeltown have fallen to the ups and downs in the industry this distillery has continued to produce excellent spirit. Formally known as ‘Scotia’ the distillery was owned by Stewart & Galbraith and Company for 60 years. It was then purchased by Duncan MacCallum. In 2014 is was purchased by the Loch Lomond Group who have invested in the distillery heavily. Ian McAllister the distillery manager operates the distillery with just seven staff producing around 600,000 litres of spirit annually.
