This release from the Kilchoman Distillery on Islay has been matured for over five years in red wine casks. The casks originated from the Douro Valley, Portugal and provide a unique sweetness and complexity to this limited release.
Official Tasting Notes
Colour: Rich heather honey.
Nose: Buttery and creamy with peat smoke lingering in the background.
Palate: Sweet and rounded with bitter chocolate, liquorice and integrated peat smoke.
Finish: Clean and sweet with a rich texture and long finish.
