Limeburners Barrel Strength Single Malts are 61% abv. They are bottled exactly as they come out of the barrel.  As the distillery do not use any caramel colouring or cold filtration, each expression shows the unique qualities of the barrel(s) it has been in.

Made and hand bottled at the Great Southern Distillery on the harbour’s edge in Albany, this complex and elegant single malt whisky is distilled in traditional small batch copper pot stills from local barley. M118 is matured in ex-bourbon oak barrels and then finished in a very old small batch port cask. It’s a serious whisky connoisseurs delight, made to savour.

Official Tasting Notes

Exhibiting honey and fruit aromas when neat, a splash of water unleashes malted barley, aromas of port, vanilla with hints of honey, raisins and caramel. M118 is a medium warm coloured whisky with intense and complex flavours, a full taste and smooth finish. Limeburners Single Malt Whisky is distinctly Australian and unique.
