The Old Perth Manzanilla is a limited edition blended malt Scotch whisky from Morrison Scotch Whisky Distillers, known for their independent bottlings. This expression is unique because it’s matured exclusively in Manzanilla sherry casks. Manzanilla is a specific type of Fino sherry, known for its dry, crisp character and subtle salty notes, produced in a particular region of Spain. This imparts a distinct flavour profile to the whisky.

This particular release is a vatting of 11 hand-picked Manzanilla casks (6 hogsheads and 5 butts), showcasing the blender’s skill in marrying these casks to create a harmonious whole. It’s bottled at 53.4% alc/vol, cask strength, and as with all Old Perth releases, it’s non-chill filtered and has no added colour. Only 4,200 bottles were released, making it a sought-after expression.
