This single cask Edradour has been finished in a cask which previously held Bordeaux wine. It is a seriously tasty whisky not to be missed. Three casks have been used to create one of the most flavoursome whiskies I have ever tasted.
The whisky was distilled on the 12th October 1999 and bottled on the 8th of February 2017 and was drawn from cask numbers 812, 822 and 823. Only 913 bottles were made available worldwide.
Our Tasting Notes
Nose: If you’re a fan of Christmas then look no further. Spices, figs, dates, Sherry, milk chocolate, raisins, sultanas and cinnamon.
Palate: Mouth-coating and luxurious, oak and red fruits.
Finish: Marmalade, fresh berries and cherries.
