We offer FREE postage on all orders shipped within Australia when you spend over $200. We will use Australia Post to utilise this service.
All website transactions including postage are in Australian Dollars AUD$.
The Whisky Company utilises the services of Australia Post and Sendle to deliver goods Australia-wide. All deliveries include free tracking. The tracking number will be emailed to you once the goods have been sent and updates given as the delivery progresses. Australia Post and Sendle handle this service. If you do not receive an email when your order has been completed please check your ‘spam’ folder as it can be received there.
Shipping costs are influenced by the size and weight of the product and your location. Shipping options and exact shipping costs are calculated in the shopping cart and will be added to the order total before checkout.
Most Australia Post items ordered before 12pm on week days will be dispatched same day, however this is not guaranteed. All Sendle orders will be dispatched within 48 hours depending on which Courier is collecting the order.
Shipping times are estimated at between 2-6 business days depending on your location. You will be notified when your package has been despatched and provided with a tracking number by Australia Post or Sendle.
Items requiring ‘gift wrapping’ will be dispatched with a delay time of 24-48 hours to allow for wrapping and preparation. Items requiring ‘engraving’ will be dispatched with a delay time of 2 to 5 days to allow for the external engraving service to be completed. It is the customers choice as to who they choose to deliver their order, the choices are Australia Post Parcel Post, Australia Post Express Post, click & collect or Sendle, where a courier will be assigned your order. As we do not know which courier Sendle will choose shipping times are unable to be recorded for Sendle here.
Sendle usually call on the following Couriers to deliver our orders, Fastway (Aramex), Couriers Please, Northline. You will be notified after your order is complete who Sendle have chosen to deliver your order.
With all Sendle chosen deliveries we offer $500 insurance for the safe delivery of your product. This is built in to the cost of using Sendle. Sendle dispatch times vary due to the change in Courier and pick up times by that Courier.
The free postage option is taken we will send the order through Australia Post Parcel Post. There are no exceptions to this service.

Sydney 1 to 2 working days
Adelaide 2 to 3 working days
Brisbane 3 to 4 working days

PLEASE BE ADVISED – Australia Post do not offer an express post service for fragile goods to Rural Australia. The Australia Post calculator will give you the option but charge you for a parcel post with signature service. We will package the item ‘express post’.
If the delivery address requires changing we are unable to action this after the item has been dispatched. Change of delivery address can be actioned on the tracking email you are given from Australia Post or Sendle. There is no cost to this service for the customer. If our company are to recall any item or make changes we will be charged for this service and this will be passed on to the customer.
Deliveries will be made to the delivery address specified in your order. If this address proves to have been provided incorrectly by you, the goods will be returned to us and once the correct address has been provided, shipped again at an additional cost to you.
The person receiving the goods at your premises must be at least 18 years of age. Proof of age by means of a valid driver’s licence, passport or other accepted form of ID may be requested at the time of delivery.
A signature is required for all deliveries to be completed. If nobody 18 years of age or older is available at the time of delivery, the goods will be delivered to your local Australia Post branch, and a note left to notify you of this. If the goods are not collected from Australia Post within 7 days they will be returned to The Whisky Company.
Please Note: We use Australia Post for deliveries however we are not responsible for their delivery times these are a guide given by Australia Post. The time frames above are accurate in non peak times based on orders sent over the past 5 years. Times may change over the festive season and also Easter as well as public holidays.

Please make sure the address you have given when ordering is correct. Should the address be incorrect the item could be returned to us and further advice will need to be given.
Any item returned to us because the address is incomplete or incorrect is charged by Australia Post, this charge is $13.95 per item. Should this be an error when ordering then the costs for returning and resending an item will be invoiced to the purchaser.
If a refund is to be given and it is due to an error in the receivers address the postage and return costs will be taken from the refund.
Any order not yet dispatched and the purchaser wishes to cancel will not be charged and full refund will be given.
Should our company make an error we will cover all costs associated with the dispatch of the item and re-delivery.
Please be aware that delays are expected from 1st December to 16th December. We will do what we can do track and trace any delayed order.
