Lark Distillery has been renowned for producing whisky for many years and it has collected many awards for its balanced well matured spirit. It is only fitting that the distillery would one day produce an outstanding gin to compliment its knowledge of spirit production. Forty Spotted Gin has been created by the distillery to offer a product that defines elegance and refinement. Named after Tasmania’s rarest bird, the Forty-spotted Pardalote (Pardalotus quadragintus) – an endemic creature. Inspired by the raw beauty of Tasmania, Forty Spotted are incredibly passionate about what they create.

Creation and innovation is at the centre of the team at the distillery. This modern gin showcases the sweet, aromatic influence of Australian citrus and the spice of native Tasmanian pepperberry. With refreshing notes of orange and tangerine and a long citrusy finish, each sip is like biting into a fresh, juicy orange.

Our Tasting Notes

Nose: Floral and fresh with violets and rose, musk sticks and juniper.

Palate: Sweet fairy floss and terrific pine notes accompany a burst of rose water.

Finish: Orange zest and freshly peeled tangerines.
