Longrow was first distilled in 1973 and is a double distilled, heavily peated single malt produced by the Springbank Distillery. Less than 100 casks of Longrow are filled each year making this whisky a very unique item.
This Longrow Red Single Malt has been matured for 9 years in ex-bourbon American oak barrels followed by 24 months in fresh Cabernet Franc Barriques from the De Toren Private Cellar in Stellenbosch, South Africa. Only 9000 bottles at cask strength have been released worldwide.
