The Tullibardine Distillery was established in 1949 and mothballed in 1995 by then owners, Whyte & Mackay, Tullibardine recently began a new chapter in its history as of November 2011 when the distillery was purchased by an independent family company already involved in the Whisky Industry Picard Vins & Spiritueux and was set up to produce a light, nutty malt which was mostly used when young and aged in refill casks for buyer-own blends. You can now expect more high toned floral notes with the nuttiness being toned down on previous bottlings.

This 2006 vintage was matured for most of its life in first fill Bourbon barrels before been finished in Sicilian Marsala casks. Then bottled at 46% ABV.

Our Tasting Notes

Nose: Creamy vanilla, dried dark fruits of fig and plum, milk chocolate and walnut whip.

Palate: Summer pudding, creamy with espresso and clove.

Finish: Treacle toffee and milk chocolate.
