Salted Caramel Whiskey Sour

Ingredients

  • 45ml Kinglake STR Cask Matured Whisky
  • 30 ml Sugar Syrup
  • 15ml Lemon Juice
  • Garnish: Orange Zest / Chilli Flakes

Instructions

  1. Add all the ingredients to a mixing glass or shaker
  2. Add ice
  3. Shake or stir vigorously.
  4. Pour into a Koto Glass with one gorgeous piece of ice
  5. Garnish with the orange zest and chilli flakes.

Notes

To make the Sugar Syrup – you need 100 ml of water and 10ml of sugar. Just add the water and sugar to a pot and heat it over the stove. When the sugar has melted you have Sugar Syrup!

You can also heat the sugar and water to 200 degrees celsius and to cool add water and salt. You now have salted caramel sugar syrup.
