Created by Macallan’s own whisky maker, Bob Dalgarno and John Ramsay from Glenrothes Distillery. The ‘1824 Collection’ has delivered 4 expressions of superb quality, we should expect nothing less from this outstanding distillery. The range consists of  ‘Select Oak’, ‘Whisky Maker’s Edition’, ‘Estate Reserve’ and the ‘1824 Limited Release’.

The Estate Reserve Edition draws on casks selected for maximum intensity and depth of flavours, including some sherry-seasoned hogsheads, and has been bottled at the traditional strength of 80 UK prooof (45.7%).

Official Tasting Notes

Nose: Soft fruits, ginger, vanilla, fudge and citrus.

Taste: Rich and fruity with intense oak wood and spiced orange.

Finish: Long with sweet citrus and oak wood.
