The Margaret River Distilling Company was established to enhance Cameron Syme’s love of Australian craft spirit. Cameron is the owner and Master Distiller for the Great Southern Distilling Company which is situated in the South of Western Australia. Limeburners Single Malt Whisky, Giniversity Gin, Tiger Snake Whiskey and Dugite Whiskey are the core brands under the One Family, Three Distilleries banner, as founded by Cameron in 2004. These multi award winning spirits are all Australian made using as much local produce and local talent as possible, creating world class drinks for us all to enjoy. The Margaret River Distillery is surrounded by towering forest trees only minutes from the stunning coastline, using local botanicals, local wine barrels from the famous Margaret River wineries and award winning whisky barrels Cameron has created some of the most unique Australian gins imaginable.

The distillery tinkered away with trials for quite some time to uncover the secret ingredient for the ultimate smoked gin, but they found it – locally sourced Margaret River Hemp. The hemp seed, sourced from Margaret River Hemp Company, adds a creamy finish to this gin that makes it incredibly smooth to sip. They’ve then used a delicate smoking process to elevate the gin and add a level of complexity that makes it just the right amount of interesting. Toasted sesame and sweet orange have also been added to balance the palate and round out the gin. We recommend you pair this innovative and complex gin with a slice of white grapefruit, chilli or a bay leaf with a splash of premium Indian tonic over ice. It is also an excellent addition to a Bloody Mary style cocktail.  Bottled at 40% ABV
