Allt-A-Bhainne Distillery is a modern distillery, founded in 1975 by Chivas Brothers for the supply of Malt Whisky for the companies blended products. Pernod Ricard acquired the Chivas Brothers brand along with the distillery in 2001. Nearly the entirety of the 4,000,000 litres produced every year at this Speyside Distillery is still used for blending purposes with only small quantities released for Single Malt expressions. Mainly producing a light and fruity style of spirit, occasional peated production now also occurs. This Single Malt Scotch Whisky is the first official whisky from Allt-A-Bhainne and was inspired by wanting to pair peat and smoke with traditional Speyside sweetness.

Our Tasting Notes

Nose: Smoke and light spice, with elements of oak, toffee and a slight fruitiness

Palate: Peat with spiced apricot, with honey and toffee.

Finish: Drawn out smokey finish with a touch of spice
