Colour: Gold Bullion
Nose: Lush tropical fruits, banana and a litte spice.
Palate: Richly honeyed and backed with a lifting zestiness which slides into spice and zingy salt. Once the dram opens out, vanilla and sultana stand out followed by notes of toasted oak.
Finish: A glorious combination of voluptuous Sauternes and snake-hipped Arran Malt – a richly rewarding partnership.

Arran with an interesting take on a Sauternes Cask. Barrelled in Bourbon then finished in Sauterne leaves this whisky with a hint of Vanilla and a subtle note spice added to the tropical fruit salad of Melon, pineapple, passionfruit and a good oil coating. Very happy with this expression. Looking forward to another dram.
