Dean Druce, the owner of Corowa Distilling Co. owned the Junee Licorice and Chocolate Factory in Wagga Wagga, which was also based in a restored flour mill. This mill in Corowa experienced a major overhaul and after spending years on renovations turned this Corowa site into something magical. Every heard of Willy Wonks Chocolate Factory well now add whisky to the equation and take away the kids! With help from Head Distiller Beau Schilg, Dean has not only created a magnificent place to make whisky and chocolate but a place to make great whisky and great chocolate. The combination is artistic and de vine.
Barrel House XB is a perfect combination of the finest ex-bourbon barrels from the states, filled with the spirit made here by us & matured in our unique barrel house to provide an exquisite Single Malt Whisky.
Our Tasting Notes
Nose: Citrus and vanilla with lighter notes of toffee.
Palate: More citrus, notes of praline and again toffee.
Finish: Medium length finish.
