Super rare Old is a famous blend from the Nikka Whisky Company. The whiskies used to blend this exceptional malt are from the Yoichi and Miyagikyo distilleries. This is Nikka’s best selling blend and was voted 90.5 points by Jim Murray in his 2013 Whisky Bible. World Whisky Awards category winner and ISC 2008 Gold Medal winner.
Official Tasting Notes
Nose: Citrus, touch of smoke and honey sweetness.
Palate: Citrus and spices, orange oils and vanilla.
Finish: Sherry notes, spices and slightly smoky.
