Taking local rain water and local barley then turning it into whisky is not an easy job. This whisky is all that is Tasmania, fresh, sweet and luscious. Matured in tawny casks.

Bottled by hand at 46% alc/vol, unchill-filtered and natural colour.

Official Tasting Notes

Nose: Sweet and complex aromas suggest butterscotch and Christmas muscatels.

Palate: Sweet caramel syrup and plum pudding spices join a clean, bright alcohol explosion which spreads across the palate to settle in and glow with some soft oaky tannins and leather.

Finish: Hints of cherry cordial and some nutty undertones that clearly displays the quality of both the spirit and the wood in developing harmony.
