The distillery takes pride in hand selecting only the finest malted barley and barrels from all around the world. They specialise in sourcing antique barrels that have matured fortified wines from 20 to 70 years. They then re-cooper them, readying them for our exceptional new make spirit.

Muscat cask whisky is a double cask whisky, first aged in an ex bourbon barrel for a few years then put into an antique 50 year old Australian muscat cask until they felt it had soaked for long enough to present some amazing flavours.

The Westernport Muscat Cask is one to savour and enjoy on special occasions.

Non-chill filtered natural colour and flavour.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Rich with dark chocolate, caramelised toffee, cinnamon, nutmeg and golden syrup.

Palate: A gentle oak influence, offering hints of vanilla, caramelised toffee, dark chocolate, coffee and subtle spices with a creamy mouth feel.

Finish:  Well balanced, with dried fig, orange and a long chocolate coffee expression that lingers on the palate.
