Our Tasting Notes
Nose: An incredibly rich and inviting aroma of dried fruits, dark chocolate, and molasses. Notes of Christmas pudding, cinnamon, and caramel are beautifully intertwined with a subtle hint of sherry and toasted oak.
Palate: The palate is full bodied and velvety, with a powerful flavour that belies its smoothness. A wave of rich raisins, figs, and plum jam gives way to layers of dark chocolate, brown sugar, and a touch of roasted coffee. The Pedro Ximénez influence adds a decadent, syrupy sweetness that is perfectly balanced by the rum’s natural spice and warmth.
Finish: A long, warm, and profoundly rich finish. The lingering notes of dried fruit and spicy oak leave a beautifully balanced and memorable impression.
