Formally known as ‘Scotia’ the distillery was owned by Stewart & Galbraith and Company for 60 years. It was then purchased by Duncan MacCallum. In 2014 is was purchased by the Loch Lomond Group who have invested in the distillery heavily. Ian McAllister the distillery manager operates the distillery with just seven staff producing around 600,000 litres of spirit annually.
