Every independently bottled Ardbeg we have every had the pleasure of drinking has been outstanding and this one has no exception, it could even be one of the best. Matured for 12 years in a refill hogshead barrel and bottled at cask strength with only 332 bottles available worldwide. 332 bottles to pleasure the world, some things just have to be explored.

Our Tasting Notes

Nose: Toffee, caramel, peat smoke and tropical fruits. Signature Ardbeg apples and seaweed.

Taste: Salted caramel, raspberry ripple ice cream, Havana cigars and cherry ripe.

Finish: There’s more smoke, pepper spice and fudge.
