This independently bottled North Star single malt was the creation of an undisclosed distillery on Orkney. It was aged for 17 years from September 2000 to September 2017 then finished in a Pedro Ximenez Sherry cask. Bottled at cask strength and only 366 bottles worldwide.
Our Tasting Notes
Nose: Thyme, rosemary and basil herbs, whiff of smoke and honey.
Taste: Pears freshly cut, canned peaches, more herbs and smoke, buttery and oily.
Finish: Caramel, hazelnuts and smoke.
