Seriously Easy Summer Cocktails
Cactus Rosé
Apothecary Gin and blood orange go together so well! Remove the pith from your blood orange and steep in the gin for a week. A little bump of sweetness from some agave syrup (look in your local health food store) adds vegetal depth. Finish it off with a Strangelove No. 8 tonic for a light, refreshing spritz
30ml Blood Orange Infused Apothecary Gin
10ml Agave Syrup
Build this one over ice and add the tonic after giving it a quick stir.
Sage Advice
When life gives you lemons, make cocktails! Now that’s Sage Advice. The key here is to have a light touch with your lemon juice, lest it overwhelm the cocktail. Gently muddle the fresh sage with the gin and let it sit for a few minutes before combining the rest of the ingredients, this will allow for better extraction of the flavoursome oils from the sage leaf.
30ml Apothecary Gin
Fresh Sage Leaves
5ml Lemon Juice
10ml Simple Syrup
After muddling your sage leaves, add ice, lemon and simple syrup. Shake well, pour into a tall glass and top with Light tonic.
