The Auchentoshan Distillery was first established in 1823 and is situated on the outskirts of Glasgow in Clydebank. The distillery sits on the Lowlands whisky region of Scotland and boats as being ‘the breakfast whisky’ of the industry. This is due to its sweet and delicate flavours. The word Auchentoshan is taken from the Gaelic word Achadh an Oisein meaning “corner of the field”. The distillery is known for its triple distillation methods which are usually used in Ireland to make whiskey.

This Auchentoshan has been triple distilled and matured in first and second fill Bourbon Casks before being bottled at 40% ABV.

Our Tasting Notes

Nose: Strong citrus, with creamy caramel sweetness.

Taste: tropical fruits, citrus and more creamy sweetness – elements of oak come through.

Finish: Long finish, citrus and toffee.
