Limeburners Barrel Strength Single Malts are 61% abv. They are bottled exactly as they come out of the barrel.  As the distillery do not use any caramel colouring or cold filtration, each expression shows the unique qualities of the barrel(s) it has been in. Made and hand bottled at the Great Southern Distillery on the harbour’s edge in Albany, this complex and elegant single malt whisky is distilled in traditional small batch copper pot stills from local barley.

Directors Cut M354 has been smoked with peat collected by hand from near the ‘Valley of the Giants’ and has been matured in an old American Oak ex-Bourbon cask and then finished in an old Australian ex-Sherry cask. Limeburners Director’s Cut comes from our Directors select reserve of barrels and represents the top shelf of the Limeburners range.

Official Tasting Notes

Exhibiting spice and floral aromas when neat, a splash of water unleashes malted barley and intense, complex smokey aromas. This Director’s Cut is a full bodied taste and a smooth finish. Limeburners Single Malt Whisky is distinctly Australian and unique.
