After the first release of this fine Scottish Single Malt we welcome the 10th batch to our shores and again it’s a gem. This GlenDronach offers all the characteristics we would expect, afterall it’s matured in a combination of Pedro Ximenez and Oloroso sherry casks. These casks handcrafted from European oak by some of the most reputable and renowned bodegas from Jerez in the South of Spain. The slow maturation allows the spirit to combine with the rich sherry wood and over years create a masterpiece which is delivered at cask strength. Our team truly hope that we continue to see un-aged, sherry matured, cask strength single malt whisky from this distillery

A classic GlenDronach exactly as it was made – cask strength, non chill filtered and at natural colour. Bottled at 58.6% alc/vol.

Our Tasting Notes

Nose: Espresso combines with dark chocolate, sticky date pudding and gingerbread.

Palate: Chocolate and sultanas, citrus peel and cracked black pepper.

Finish: Long with berry jam, chocolate mud cake and caramelised walnuts.
